March 6 1946 January 4 2022
Edward (“Ed” or “Eddie”) Dennis Morrell was born on March 6, 1946, and passed away on January 4, 2022, at the age of 75. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth, father, Earl and two brothers, Robert and Richard. Eddie lived his entire life in Minneapolis, MN, was a proud member of the NEBF Union and retired from NSP. While Eddie appeared gruff on the outside, he was a gentle soul on the inside. Though quiet by nature, he would open up when asked, and loved to talk about his days working at Dulono’s Pizza, his fishing trips, weekend poker games and many years playing in his bowling league. He was happiest sitting on his front steps and made sure that he always had enough milk bones for the dogs and ice cream for the kids. Eddie is survived by his brother, Mickey Morrell, two children, Rick Morrell (Heather) and Kristine Jurczyk (Will Rodgers), two grandsons, Ryan and Mason and nieces and nephews, Mike, Linda, Julie and John. A memorial service will be held at 11 am on January 20, 2022, at Washburn-McReavy Dawn Valley Chapel and Memorial Park, 9940 Bush Lake Road in Bloomington, with visitation at 10:30 am prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, we are requesting donations in his honor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. www.Washburn-McReavy.com Dawn Valley Chapel 952-941-7686 A Notice to Our Families: Actions we are taking to protect our staff and the families we serve.
