Charles C. Thornton, 82, of Exeter Township, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 3, 2022, following a brief illness. He was the husband of Kathleen (Dunlap) Thornton. Born in Wilmington, Delaware, he was the son of the late Joseph and Margaret (Talley) Thornton. Dr. Thornton was on the staff at Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia, PA, Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior for 39 years until his retirement in 2006. Charles is survived by his loving wife Kathleen, their children, six grandchildren, and one brother. He was predeceased by one brother. Services and internment will be private.
