Obituary Ms. Doris Lorraine Webster, 76, peacefully passed away February 2, 2022, at First Health Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst, NC, following a five-month hard-fought battle with cancer. Born in Red Bank, New Jersey to Samuel and Nellie Webster, Doris was raised in Red Bank and Tinton Falls, New Jersey. She graduated from Monmouth Regional High School, and resided in Manhattan, New York for well over 25 years. Upon receiving her pre-school certification she was employed as a pre-school teacher at private schools in New York for many years. Doris relocated to NC approximately two years ago. Doris was preceded in death by her beloved mother and father Samuel and Nellie Webster; her husband Mikal Saleem; her brother Samuel Webster, Jr. and sisters Diana Webster, Sandra Webster, and Sarita Rubinacci. She is survived by her loving sister G. Jeanine Greig, cousin Barbara Quick (Rev. S. Quick), and many other relatives and friends that will deeply miss her. Doris was a kind, thoughtful, light-hearted, beautiful, loving sister, aunt, friend, and wife. Doris also loved children, she was beloved by all children who always gravitated towards her spontaneous light from her earliest childhood years to adulthood. Outside of work, Doris was an amazing and beautiful multi-faceted artist as a painter of different genres, sculptress, sketcher, and collage artist for which she received many accolades and recognitions. She was currently contracted to develop, design, and create individual one-of-a-kind artistic collages. The artwork Doris created was from the deepest part of her being/passion.
