Obituary Donald Earl Jarboe of McDaniels, KY died Monday, September 26, 2022. Donald Earl was born in Axtel, KY on April 8, 1933, to the late Donald Andrew and Ruth Eskridge Jarboe. He had one half brother that preceded him in death, Burl Price Jarboe. He was an Air Force veteran, a Kentucky Colonel and a retired farmer. Donald Earl was an avid music fan. For many years he sang in the McDaniels United Methodist Church choir, traveled around the county with different singing groups and attended every Bluegrass event he could. Donald Earl was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Yvonne, 2 grandsons, Daniel and Simon Fentress as well as 2 great grandchildren, Sarah Beth and George Williams. Surviving family include his 3 children, daughter Cathy (Dennis) Fentress of Fayetteville, TN and their children Sarah, Rebecca, Caleb, Mary, Leah, Hannah, Clara, Laymon, Cletus, Amanda, Jason and Rosanna. Daughter Donna Karen (Pat) Dyer of Lavonia, GA and their children Lauren, Benjamin and Jacob. Son Chris (Stephanie) Jarboe of Franklin, TN and their children Claire and Ryman. 20 great grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Sunday, October 2, 2022 at 1 PM with burial in the Sand Knob Cemetery.
