Obituary of Diane L. Kerner Diane L. Kerner Diane L. Kerner aka “Aunt DeeDee”, age 52, of Pottstown, PA passed away on Friday, November 25, 2022 at her residence. Diane was born on February 3, 1970 in Philadelphia, PA to Catherine A. (Nicholson) Kerner and the late Edward L. Kerner, Sr. Diane was formerly of Norristown and resided in Pottstown for the past 20 years. Diane graduated from Norristown Area High School, attended Montgomery Community College for Phlebotomy, attended Technical Institute for Business, was a certified nail technician and held a CDL to drive truck. Diane was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Diane is survived by her four children, daughter, Victoria L. Cordero of Lower Pottsgrove, son, Anthony J. Kerner of Pottstown, son, Edward “Skip” Curry of Philadelphia, daughter, Shayna Curry of Pottstown; grandsons, Michael and Jaxon Dougan of Lower Pottsgrove, mother, Catherine A. (Nicholson) Kerner of North Coventry, sister, Marlene Hoffman of Plymouth Meeting, brother, Edward L. Kerner, Jr. of Pottstown and many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Diane was preceded in death by her father, Edward L. Kerner, Sr., and two sisters, Kathleen (Kerner) Simcox and Joann (Kerner) Morrione. Diane had a love for helping those in need. She had a heart of gold and would utilize her skills and resources to navigate through life in helping others. Diane will be greatly missed by her loved ones. Services and interment will be held in private. Memorial contributions may be made in Diane’s memory to “Victoria Cordero” to help care for Diane’s special needs child.
