Ms. Diane Mathis, age 75 of Big Rock, TN was called home to be with the Lord on December 12, 2022 at Diversicare of Dover. She was born on October 13, 1947 the beloved daughter of the late Virgil and Virdie Kennedy Mathis. Diane was a loving caregiver for her parents before their death. She was employed at ACME Boot Company as a machine operator until retirement. Diane was a faithful member of the Big Rock Church of Christ. She was a loving and caring daughter, sister, and loyal friend to many. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother; Henry “Tootie” Rayburn Mathis and infant sister; Shelba Mathis. She is survived by her loving and devoted brother; Robert “Stig” Mathis of Big Rock, TN, several cousins and extended family members. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 13, 2022 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at 11:00 am until the hour of the funeral service at 1:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home with Bro. David Whitehead officiating. Burial will follow at Smith Cemetery in Big Rock, TN. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Arrangements are entrusted to Anglin Funeral Home, Dover, TN and Online condolences may be made at anglinfuneralhome.com
