Obituary Denise was born on July 26, 1959, in Kansas City, Kansas to Barnever Avery and Turner Tank. Denise departed this life on December 16,2022. She will be truly missed and loved by everyone who knew her. Denise accepted Christ into her life at a young age. Denise received her education through the Kansas City, Kansas school system. She went on to become a beautician, she loved doing hair. Denise loved spending time with her family and friends, she loved playing spades and dominoes. Denise is preceded in death by her mother Barnever Avery, sister Carla Avery, brother’s Eric Avery and Marvin Woods. Denise leaves behind to cherish her memories her children LeVelle and Michelle Browning, Artis Johnson and Shayla Davis, and Arlesha Johnson. Grandchildren Devonte and Natalie Clay, J’Veyon and Joy Browning, Kelyn Browning, Mi’Yonah Franklin, Jerronn and Laron Anderson, Kelvion and Kelvi Clark. She also leaves three great- grandchildren Emery, Jace, and Eris. Denise service will be on December 30, 2022 12pm-2pm Community Church 1110 North 18th Street Kansas City Kansas 66102.
