Williams – Delores “Dee” Williams went home to be with the Lord January 14, 2022. She passed away at her home in Macclenny, Florida with her family by her side. Dee was a loving, caring, giving, wife, mother, grandmothers, sister, aunt, friend, and most of all the best “Granny” to many. She was born in Manor, Georgia on September 27, 1944 to the late Lester Thompson and Cassie Mae Daniels. Dee was married to the love of her life, Bill Williams, for 37 years. Together they owned and operated Bill Williams AC & Heating Inc. for 47 years. Dee was an active member of Moniac Baptist Church where she loved serving the Lord. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, family, and friends. Dee was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan and Jaguar fan. Dee is preceded in death by her mother, Cassie Mae Daniels; father, Lester Thompson; sister, Gladys Frier; brother, Tiny Thompson; loving husband, Bill Williams; and daughter, Samantha Dale Williams. Dee is survived by her loving daughter, Heidi (Tim) Lee of Macclenny, FL; son, Alan (Sandra) Williams of Jacksonville, FL; granddaughters, Brittany (Chelsie) Lawson, Brianna (Brian) Ross, Whitney (Drew) Williams; grandson, Winston (Jessie) Williams; great grandchildren include Jackson and Jordan Smith, Brayden and Brylee Ross, Landyn and Jordan LaRive, Autumn Cormier, and Abagail Sisk; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and many special friends. A Celebration of Dee’s life will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery with Pastor Matt Rouse officiating and Pallbearers to include Kevin Mock, Daniel Lawson, Winston Williams, Greg Chisim, Jerry Carter, Brian Ross. The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 18, 2022 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Moniac Baptist Church. Arrangements are under the care and direction of V.
