Obituary Kulpmont – Debora (Long) Merena-Stickely, 69, of 1222 Poplar St., passed away on November 17, 2022 at Geisinger Shamokin Area Community Hospital. She was born in Shamokin on November 24, 1952, the daughter of Henry and Julia (Chato) Long. Debora was a life-long resident of Kulpmont and a 1970 graduate of High Point High School in Beltsville, MD. Debora put all faith in God and was a devout Christian. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, devoted partner, great friend, hard worker, funny, and a great listener. She was a craft whiz who excelled in sewing and cross stich. She enjoyed online gaming with her husband and grandchildren. Debora enjoyed talking to her sisters and watching pro-wrestling, WWE and WWF, on TV. Debora is survived by her husband, Charles Stickley; her children, James Hall II, Lori Yeager, Angela Hall, Lloyd Hall, Victoria (Hall) Fane, Daniel Merena II, and Kathleen Ann (Merena) Offria; grandchildren, Ryan Klinger, Amilya Hall, Hannah Hall, Josiah Hall, Jason Fane, Eli Fane, Cole Fane, Charles Offria, Violet Rose Offria, Killyun, Malakai, and Rory; siblings, Henrietta (Long) Kruleski, Thomas Long, Beverly (Long) Stanchick, Victoria (Long) Rudy, and Catherine (Long) Cassarella; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Debora was preceded in death by her parents; her previous husband, Daniel E. Merena; and siblings, Stephen Long, Henry Long II, Elizabeth (Long) Fisher, Mary (Long) Heitzman, Barbara (Long) Terefenko, Theresa (long) Horvath, Marlin Long, Carol (Long) Rickert, and Robert Long. Funeral Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
