David L. Pedersen, age 79 of Richfield, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Jan 10, 2022. David was born Dec 6, 1942 in Grand Forks, ND. Graduate of Hillcrest Lutheran Academy in 1962. Worked for the city of Mpls for 34 years. Then worked for Lund’s Grocery Store in Wayzata for 13 years. Loved downhill skiing, tennis, & biking. Loved to travel and ski in the mountains of Colorado & Montana. Loved music & singing Praises to God. One of the highlights of his life was traveling to Norway with a male choir for two weeks & giving sacred concerts all across Norway. He loved & enjoyed his family & going on many memorable vacations with them. He loved the Lord & talking to people about him. Lifelong Minnesota sports fan. Preceded in death by parents, Adolph & Esther; brother, Howard; sister, Eunice. Survived by wife, Flo; daughters, Angie, Heidi (Mike) Cramer; brother, Ronald (Audrey); & sisters, Ramona (Vince) Settergren, Audrey Chase, & Marilyn (Duane) Hanson. Memorials are preferred to either Focus on the Family, Hillcrest Lutheran Academy, or Samaritan’s Purse. Memorial service will be 11AM, Monday, Jan 17 at Emmaus Lutheran Church (8443 Second Ave S, Bloomington, MN) with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church.
