David Bruce Catlin, 82, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, December 25th, 2022, at St. Francis Hospital- Downtown surrounded by his loving family. Born in San Diego, CA, he was the son of the late Everett Lucius and Ethel Weckerly Catlin. He served in the U.S. Navy and retired from the U.S. Air Force. He went to Belize with Emmaus and was a faithful member of Slater United Methodist Church. He is survived by his three daughters: Chantee Revels (Richard), Dawn Strait (Robert), and Cynthia Sinclair (Randall); two brothers: John Michael Catlin (Linda), and Jeffrey Clyde Catlin (Nola); 5 grandchildren: Chelsea Cziraky (Scott), Scott Revels, Ian Revels (Alyssa), Taylor Strait (Yanni), and Caroline Sosebee; eleven loving great-grandchildren: Elijah, Liam, Evangeline, Olivia, Adeline, Alexis, Willow, Chance, Navia, Asher, and Teigan. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by two grandchildren: Brandon Catlin and Amanda Cox. A visitation will be held on Friday, December 30th, 2022, from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at The Howze Mortuary. Funeral service will follow the visitation in The Howze Mortuary Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Burial will follow in Graceland West Cemetery. Family will be at their respective homes.
