Lancaster, KY: Darrell E. Ward, age 89, of Lancaster, KY formerly of Rogersville, passed away Friday, October 28, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family. He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Army. Darrell was a highway contractor building roads in several states. He was preceded in death by his daughters, Teresa Davidson and Michelle Hackworth; parents; one sister; three brothers. He is survived his son Mark Ward; daughters, Tonya Ward both of Lexington, KY, Tiffany Ward, Christina Ward both of Lancaster; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be 1:00 P.M., Thursday, November 3, 2022 at the Ward Cemetery with Rev. Hugh Kyle Minor officiating. Those who wish to go in procession to the cemetery are asked to meet at the funeral home by 12:00 Noon.
