Danny Kay Churchman July 26, 1955 – November 27, 2022 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| View Guestbook Entries Danny Kay Churchman, age 67, of Fairdale, Kentucky returned to his Heavenly Father on Sunday, November 27, 2022. He was owner and operator of Dixie Plumbing, member of Local 502 and a member of Cornerstone Church. Danny was born in Louisville, Kentucky on July 26, 1955, to the late Thomas and Salley Rumsey Churchman. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Troy Churchman. Danny leaves to cherish his memory his children, Kyle Churchman (Erin), Kent Churchman (Brittany) and Kasey Churchman (Angela); sisters, Celinda Marshall and Susan Burch (Joe Pat); four grandchildren that were the center of his universe, Clare, Brice, Grant and Kinsley; nephews, Austin Marshall (Eryn) and Matt Burch (Angela); nieces, Kristin Wyatt (Corey) and Micha Schonburg (Conner); aunt, Betty Churchman Sublett. He was a devoted father, papaw and friend. He loved spending his Saturdays in Lexington watching the Cats play football with his family and lots of close friends. Funeral service will be held at 10 am on Monday, December 5, 2022, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with cremation to follow. Friends and Family may pay their respects on Sunday from 2 pm until 8 pm and on Monday from 9 am until time of service at the funeral home.
