O’Neal Thomas age 77, of Jamestown, Louisiana, formerly of Atlanta, Texas went to be with the Lord Thursday, December 1, 2022 in a Coushatta, Louisiana hospital. O’Neal was born August 18, 1945, in Atlanta, Texas, to Paul and Beatrice Thomas. He was retired from Bud’s Seismograph; was a Baptist by faith and was an avid fisherman. He was preceded in death by his brother, David Thomas; sister, Virginia Cagle; and his parents. He is survived by his daughter, Melinda Culbertson and husband Johnny of Jamestown, Louisiana; three grandchildren, Barbara Beason and husband Joe, and Courtney Thomas both of Jamestown, Louisiana, David and Kristin Thomas of Castor, Louisiana; seven great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 2:00 pm, Sunday, December 4, 2022 at Smyrna Cemetery, with Bro. Gene Parker officiating, under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service.
