Cynthia A. “Cindy” Estes, age 61 of Velpen, Indiana, passed away at 8:53 p.m. on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper, Indiana. Cindy was born on March 10, 1961 in Evansville, Indiana to Ron and Lilly (Riggle) Greenwalt. She married Timothy Estes on November 4, 1978 in Evansville, IN. He preceded her in death on April 27, 1997. She had worked for Keller-Cresent in Evansville and then focused on helping to raise her grandchildren. Cindy enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Surviving is son, Timothy Estes (Fiancé Candy Enlow), and daughter, Kendra Black (Craig), Evansville, seven grandchildren, two sisters, Connie Serelles, Evansville, and Kim Greenwalt, Evansville. Preceding her in death beside her husband were her parents and one brother, Junior Greenwalt. Private services were held at Becher-Kluesner Funeral Homes in Jasper.
