Craig’s Obituary Craig L. Gentry, Sr., of Rockland, passed away on October 10, 2022 at the age of 74. He was the son of the late Pauline (Lindsey) and Clarence Gentry. Craig was raised in Hingham where he was a graduate of Hingham High School. He then went on to attend Massasoit Community College. Craig served in the United States Army from 1968 – 1974. He worked for the town of Norwell as a laborer for many years. Craig settled in Plymouth where he would raise his family. Craig was a quiet man, although he was a jokester. He enjoyed fishing, watching cowboy movies and Star Trek. Craig was the loving Father of Maureen Mikobi and her husband DJ of Georgia, Christine Amaral and her husband Roberto of Middleboro, Craig Gentry Jr. and his partner Renee Rizzotto of Plymouth, Maia Fernandes and her husband Steven of Plymouth, and Casey Gentry and his partner Nicole Emerson of Pembroke. Brother of Paula Gentry, Denise Leite, Beverly Carter, and Wayne Gentry. He is also survived by his close companion Doreen Casey of Rockland, many grandchildren, one great-grandchild and many other relatives and friends. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, October 14th from 12:00PM-2:00PM at Sullivan Funeral Home in Hanover, 551 Washington St., Rt. 53. A funeral home service will immediately follow starting at 2:00PM. Burial will be held on a later date at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
