Obituary of Courtney Lee Reder Courtney Lee Reder passed away on Tuesday July 5, 2022 in her home in Salt Lake City Utah at the age of 45. Born February 7, 1977 to Christine and Brent Chidester. She married Matthew Reder in November 1, 2013. Courtney (Courto) was a loving wife, friend of many, and talented artist. She attended and graduated from Highland High class of 1995. She spent many years working in various careers in the criminal justice fields and beyond. She was kind, genuine, generous and a gentle soul with big spirit. She could talk to anyone and strike a friendship and then offer the shirt off her back. She had a profound love of animals and always was involved in activities and charities involving them. She is survived by her husband Matthew Reder; daughter Eva; sister Tara Chidester; parents Brent and Chris Chidester; five Step-children and 2 grand children. The family is hosting a casual “Celebration of Life” event at her parents home to meet in her honor on July 15, 2022 from 4-7pm. Memories may be shared with the family via this Tribute page.
