Obituary Cody James Gotcher, 21, of Montgomery City, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at his home. Cody was born in Tucson, Arizona, on June 14, 2001, the only son of Rick Gotcher and Janie (Korman) Gotcher. Cody enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and trapping, he particularly loved to go fishing. He enjoyed taking his dirt bike out for rides and spent a lot of time with his dog, Rocky. He also liked playing his video games. He helped care for his father. Cody had a 2-year-old daughter, Nova, that he adored. She will miss him greatly along with his mother, father, and many other family members and friends. Cody is survived by his father, Rick Gotcher of Montgomery City, Missouri, his mother, Janie Gotcher of Wellsville, Missouri, his daughter, Nova Gotcher, two uncles, Jim Gotcher of Hawaii, David Korman, and wife Laurie, of New Florence, Missouri, aunt, Wanda Korman Jacquin, and husband Dave, of Berger, Missouri and numerous cousins and other family. Cody was preceded in death by his grandparents George and Josephine Gotcher, and Glen and Margaret Korman. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
