Clinton Anthony Bates March 1, 1967 – January 4, 2022 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card| Memorial Donation Clinton Anthony Bates, Shell Knob, MO, son of Charles and Barbara (Ray) Bates, was born March 1, 1967, in Indianapolis, IN and departed this life on January 1, 2022, at the age of 54. Clinton had been a resident of the area for five years, moving here from Indiana. He worked at the Lives Under Construction Boys’ Ranch in Blue Eye, MO. He was a member of Our Lady of the Cove Catholic Church in Kimberling City, MO. Clinton was preceded in death by his father, Charles A. Bates. Survivors include: his mother, Barbara Bates of Kokomo, IN; son, Brady Bates of Noblesville, IN; two daughters, Rachel Stax of Las Vegas, NV and Iliana James of New Mexico; three brothers, Charles Bates III of Fortville, IN, Cecil Bates of Indianapolis, IN and Corey Bates of Indiana; four sisters, Nikki Bates of Indianapolis, IN, Nita Askew of Indianapolis, IN, Nevata White of Indianapolis, IN and Nichelle Bates of Kokomo, IN; and a host of other family and friends.
