Obituary Christopher Stokes, age 60, of Philadelphia, formerly of Pittsburgh died on Thursday, October 20, 2022. Son of the late James C. Stokes III and Marie J. Gallagher, brother of Kathy (Dave) Smoot, Rosemary (P.D.) Serger, James C. (Kim) Stokes, IV, Jennifer (Bobby) Howe and Annemarie (Mike) Johnston. Also survived by 10 nieces and nephews, 20 great nieces and nephews and many friends. Chris was a 1980 graduate of Moon High School. He worked for American Airlines for 35 years in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia. He enjoyed spending time with his friends, bowling, softball, golfing, and boating. He was an avid Cincinnati Bengals and Reds fan, no matter their record. Friends will be received Friday 10 – 12 pm at R. D. Copeland, Inc., 981 Brodhead Road, Moon Township where a blessing service will be held at 12 pm. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
