View Tribute Book Hessenius, Christian M. “Chris” age 66 of Totowa at rest in Totowa on November 25, 2022. Beloved husband of forty years to the former Ann Marie Seminerio of Totowa. Loving father of Kimberly Straface and her husband Franco of Totowa and Christian M. Hessenius II and his wife Lindsay of Little Falls. Dear grandfather of Matteo Straface and Ava Carmela Hessenius. Brother of Dawn Iorlano of Vernon and the late Robert Hessenius. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and his beloved pet dog, Mickey. Born in Teaneck, he lived in Elmwood Park for most of his life before moving to Totowa thirty two years ago. He was a Comptroller for House of Herbs, Passaic, for many years until 2008. Chris was a parishioner of St. James R.C. Church, Totowa and was an avid N.Y. Yankee and N.Y. Giant Fan. He enjoyed the Jersey Shore and took great pride in his lawn and enjoyed outdoor grilling. He loved his dogs, especially Bandit and he cherished any time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 10:00 AM. Entombment to follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may visit Tuesday, November 29, 2022 from 4-8 PM.
