Obituary Chief Warrant Officer Larry Glenn Hull Sr. went to be with his Lord and Savior on September 1, 2022 at Velma, Oklahoma with his family by his side. The family will greet visitors on Tuesday, September 6, between 6:00-7:00 P.M. at Whitt Funeral Home. Services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, September 7, in the Whitt Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jerry Moore and Bro. Jerry Don Moore officiating. Serving as pallbearers are Larry Hull Jr., Justin Jantz, Logan Hall, and Jeremy Weger; honorary pallbearers are the Delta Dawgs. Burial with military honors will be at the Fort Sill National Cemetery-Elgin at 1:00 P.M. under the direction of Whitt Funeral Home. Larry was born to MSG Wiley Glenn Hull and Margaret Bernice Adams Hull in Lawton, Oklahoma. Larry was an Army “Brat” and lived around the word as he was growing up. He graduated from Lawton High School in 1964. Larry served in the United States Navy from 1964 until his retirement in 1990. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal with V for valor, Navy Achievement Medal with two Gold Stars and V for valor, Good Conduct Medal with three Bronze Stars, Vietnam Service Medal with seven campaign stars, Combat Action Ribbon, Aircrew Wings, and Enlisted Warfare Specialist Wings and several Navy and Vietnam and Gulf War medals and ribbons. After his retirement he worked for Auto Zone as a store manager and taught in Duncan Public Schools as a Special Education teacher. He was a graduate of Cameron University with a BS in Elementary Education and a Masters of Education in Special Education. Larry married Linda F. Stephens in 1967 at Lawton. He also married Penny M. Hale in 1984 at Reno, Nevada. He enjoyed working on cars, fishing, and playing with his grandchildren. Larry was a life member of the VFW, DAV, VVA, and a member of Harvest Hills Baptist Church. Larry is survived by his children: Stephanie Hull, Karla Hull, Jeremy Weger and wife Adria, Jennifer Janz and husband Justin, Larry G. Hull Jr. and wife Kyla, and Amber Hall and husband Logan; his sister: Georgia Tanner and husband Skip; and brother: Roger Weiss and wife Kerry. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Jennifer, Tim, Chris, Maddisin, Jessica, Isabella, Victoria, Gauge, Daylee, Brylee, Ethan, Bryor, Annabeth, and Elliot; his Church family; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents; his wives: Linda Hull and Penny Hull; his nephew: AJ Little Jr.; and several aunts and uncles.
