Obituary Charles A. Smith, age 83, of Portersville, passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2022. Born March 26, 1939 in Wilkinsburg, Allegheny Co; he was the son of the late Charles Smith and Harriett Wills Smith. Chuck was a US Veteran, who proudly served in the US Navy from 1956 to 1960. He owned and operated Chuck Smith Ford in Zelienople from 1974 to 1997. Chuck was a Sewage Enforcement Officer for many municipalities in Butler County from 1998 to 2015, he also served on the Zelienople Airport Authority for over a decade. Chuck lived life to the fullest and loved traveling. He was an avid saltwater fisherman, master gardener, and a private pilot. He is survived by his children Shawn (Becky) Smith of Harmony, Vicki (Larry) Sefton of Portersville; his grandchildren Parker Smith and Morgan Smith; and best friend his dog Sprout.
