Obituary Catherine Rose (Bowers) Gage died at her home in Chenango Forks, N.Y. on 10/4/22. She was74 years old. She was predeceased by her parents Percy and Mary (McNeil) Bowers; her in-laws Curtis and Madeline Gage; sisters and brothers in-law – Anne and Stan Jennings and Martha and Ray Hallock; a beloved step daughter Lorri Gage; step son Michael Gage; a nephew James Jennings and brothers in-law Harry, Ronnie, and Ed Gage. She is survived by her loving husband Stanley, of 32 years; step daughters Terry Pomeroy(Paul) and Jennifer Gage; many grandchildren and great grandchildren who were the light of her life, – including Jasmine Gage and Jaimie Hauptman (Kevin) and her children Allison, Madeline and Jacob, also, many nieces and nephews – including Sue Hallock (Carol), Jeff Hallock and Debbie Hallock (Darci); Michael Jennings (Nancy) and Andy Jennings (Julie) as well as many dear friends. Catherine was a graduate of SUNY Plattsburgh and worked as an English teacher, a circulation coordinator for the Press Republican, as well as a nanny. Her greatest joy, however, was loving and being loved by her family. She was extremely proud of her Irish heritage and was a voracious reader who instilled the joy of reading in her grandchildren and others. Funeral services for Catherine will be announced at a later date.
