Catherine Abigail Smith, 51, of Maplesville, Alabama passed away December 8, 2022, in Birmingham, Alabama. She was born May 25, 1971 in Alabama, daughter of the late Ralph Melton and Gail Melton. She was a Homemaker. Surviving are her Son, Jordan Higginbotham; Son, Leslie Smith; Mother, Gail Melton; Brother, Andy Melton; Brother, Marshall Melton; Several Nieces and Nephews; Special Friend, Jimmy Smith. She was preceded in death by her Father, Ralph Randall Melton. Friends will be received Saturday, December 17, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Active Bible Methodist Church. Services will be held Saturday, December 17, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Active Bible Methodist Church with Rev. Brent Whitaker officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Maplesville, Alabama. Martin Funeral Home directing.
