Obituary Caryl Edwina B. Black, 69, of Huntsville, AL died Thursday, September 8, 2022. She was born in Ooltewah, TN on November 19, 1952, to Edwin C. Buckels and Mariah June Qualls Buckels. She married and had two children, Kerri Stiles Lucero (Alan) Rosetti and Kermit Stiles III. Caryl had many jobs over the years, but her favorite was that of caregiver, and she was deeply involved in raising three grandchildren: Kylie Natassia Key, Miranda Caryl Key, and Jackson Cooper Key. She was overjoyed to have three great-grandchildren: Tanner Jackson Baker, Lucy Caitlin Key, and Milo Bilodeau. She was down to earth and good humored. She loved college sports, especially Roll Tide football. She also loved Lakers basketball, cross-stitch, cooking, and rap music. She will be greatly missed. Caryl was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her two children, four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren; five siblings: Juanita (Gary) Leffew; Brooke “Sooty” Buckels; Corky (Tammy) Buckels; Leslie (Dal) Moody; Mark (Katherine) Buckels; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and other cherished family and friends. Visitation for Caryl will be held on Monday, September 12, 2022, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Laughlin Service Funeral Home, with a chapel service immediately following.
