Carole Ewing Lindsay 75, of Salisbury, Maryland departed this life on November 8, 2022 at her home. Born in Iowa City, Iowa on November 22, 1946, Carole was the daughter of Merrill and Jeanne Ewing. After her early years in Iowa, the family moved to Bethesda, MD where she attended Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School. She lived in many places throughout her life including Oklahoma, New York, and Massachusetts, but made Salisbury, Maryland her home for over the past 25 years. Carole had many interests such as knitting and ceramics and loved animals of all kinds. She is survived by her son Robert Philpula of Dublin, GA two granddaughters, Brittney and Brooke, one great grandson, three sisters Lynne Ewing, Princess Anne, MD, Mary Ellen Ewing Gaithersburg, MD and Janet Ewing Sunderland, MA. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the : Merrill A and Jeanne M Ewing Scholarship Fund at Simpson College 701 North C St. Indianola, IA 50125.
