Carol’s Obituary Carol Price Rytter, 66, passed away on September 24, 2022 after a hard fought battle with pancreatic cancer. Carol was born on December 30, 1955 to Joseph and Ann Price. She was one of eleven siblings. After Carol graduated from Franklin High School, she worked for Johns Hopkins Hospital in public relations. She went on to graduate with a degree in Communications and Business from Notre Dame of Maryland University. Carol and her husband Robert Rytter started a successful marketing and communications business and she served as Chief Financial Officer for many years. She volunteered throughout her life with different organizations and in her children’s schools. Carol had a wonderful sense of humor and the most beautiful laugh. She was incredibly generous and was passionate about doing whatever she could to help others. She had a huge heart and put her all into everything she did. No matter her personal situation, she was always looking for ways to brighten someone’s day. She was the life of every party, made friends everywhere she went, and always found a way to make everything more fun. Her favorite place to be was at the beach with her family. Carol was married to her best friend Bob for 41 years. She was an incredible mother to Ashley Rytter Kline, Brittany Marie Skipper, and Ryan Jensen Rytter and her children were her pride and joy. She loved her son-in-laws Brooks Kline and Brian Skipper and her stepdaughter Chantelle Rytter. She was the grandmother of five: Grant, Gavin, Vivienne, Benjamin and Beatrice. She adored her grandchildren and embraced every moment of being a grandmother. Carol was one of a kind and to have known her and to be loved by her was to be truly blessed. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 8th at 11:00 AM at Chestnut Grove Presbyterian Church in Phoenix, Maryland. All are welcome.
