Carol’s Obituary Carol K. Wilhelm, 72, of Brackenridge passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, April 20, 2022. She was born December 22, 1949 in Harrison Township to the late Fred and Dorothy (Mueller) Kowola. Carol lived most of her life in Brackenridge and Natrona. She was a homemaker and also worked for a time at PPG Industries, Springdale and was a librarian in Tarentum and Natrona Heights. Carol was a member of Guardian Angels Parish, St. Ladislaus Church, Natrona and the Allegheny Valley Library. She graduated from Har Brack High School in 1967 and was an avid reader and Pittsburgh sports fan. Carol enjoyed cooking, baking and especially enjoyed her family. Survivors include her son, Bryan M. (Rebecca Cornuet) Wilhelm, of Brackenridge and grandson Brayden M. Wilhelm, of Brackenridge. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Bertrand F. Wilhelm in 2014 and a brother Neal Kowola in 2021. Visitation 5-7PM Sunday in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526 and Monday from 9am until the time of the funeral mass at 10 AM in St. Ladislaus Church, Natrona.
