Brian Rawls, 52, of Orange, Texas, passed away on September 10, 2022, at his home in Orange. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 17, 2022, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Lance Faulkner of Bridgepoint Fellowship Church. Burial will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery in Jasper, Texas at 3:00 p.m. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, September 16, 2022, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Born in Beaumont, Texas, on June 14, 1970, he was the son of James “Jim” Rawls and Maxine (Geldard) Rawls. Brian worked in logistics for Dow Chemical Company, formerly known as DuPont, for 27 years. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, being around a campfire, and listening to music. Brian also really enjoyed driving fast cars, motorcycles, and ATVs. Above all else, he loved spending time with his family. He was a wonderful husband, father, son, and brother who will be missed dearly. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Grady and Betty Rawls, and Max and Shellie Geldard. He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Tami Rawls; father and step-mother, Jim and Sandy Rawls; mother, Maxine Rawls; children, Harleigh Rawls and Garrett Rawls; sister, Janet Rawls; step-sisters, Chelsea Popp and husband Brian, and Eden Meadows; step-brother, Ethan Meadows and wife Sabrina; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be David Dupuis, Damon Silva, Mike Silva, Jerome Silva, Nicky Silva, and Garrett Rawls. Honorary pallbearer is Kelly Neely.
