Bobby’s Obituary Bobby “Bob” Wayne Fielding, 86, of Midland, TX entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior on Sunday, September 4th, 2022. Bob was born on April 10th, 1936 in Seminole, OK to the late Fannie and James Fielding. He married the love of his life, Dot Fielding, on March 14th, 1963, they enjoyed bowling and attending many Lee Rebel athletic events. Together, they received the Lee High School Grand Marshall Award twice, the Football Rebel for Life Award, the Baseball Rebel for Life Award, the Basketball Rebel for Life Award, and the Softball Rebel for Life Award. In 1991 he and Dot purchased a motor home and within the first year, they put over 5,000 miles on it following Rebels sports. Bob loved big and cared deeply for each and every person that he came in contact with. He never met a stranger. He was also a proud United States Air Force Veteran. He leaves his many loving memories to be cherished by his adorning daughter, Stacy Fielding of Midland, TX; sister, Dorothy Kilgore (Rev. Marvin) of Bakersfield, CA; sister, Faye Gordon of Tulsa, OK; sister, Barbara Roberson of Tulsa, OK; many nieces and nephews; and many other Fami”LEE” members gained over the many years of Rebel sports. He is now reunited with his Loving wife of 54 years, Dot Fielding; Parents, Fannie and James Fielding; his 3 Brothers, Jack F., Rex J., and Ray (Clarence); and Sister, Dorris McDonald. Visitation will be held Sunday September 11th from 1:00pm-9:00pm at Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Funeral Home, 2508 N Big Spring St., Midland, TX 79705. Services will be held Monday, September 12th at 10:00am at Calvary Assembly of God Church, 908 Johnston St. Midland, TX 79701 where we will gather with friends and family to celebrate the example of life that he set for everyone around him. Pallbearers will be, Talor Nunez, Tyler Wilke, Reilly Gwin, Zachary Fieldhouse, Marty Harrison, Jeffery Martinez, Kenny Harper, and Butch Uselton, with honorary pallbearers; any Rebel athlete from 1986 to present. Burial services will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens, 6800 S State Highway 349, Midland, TX 79706 The family is requesting a “Maroon Out” to celebrate Bob’s love for his Rebels.
