Billy Trotter, 90, of Hale Center, Texas passed away August 15, 2022. Billy was born December 2, 1931, in Lubbock, TX to Ferd Trotter and Geneva Trotter. Billy was a lifelong farmer who started out being born on the farm at his grandmother’s house. Billy graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1949 and then spent 2 years in the Army, stationed at Fort Louis Washington. Billy and the love of his life Nancy were married for 65 years. Billy will be greatly missed by his family. Loved ones include spouse Nancy Trotter; son Terry and Deirdre Trotter of Lubbock, TX; grandchildren Teila and Emmanuel Peralez (Damien, Keltyn, Tobias), Kayley and Nathaniel Peralez (Aliana, Alani); daughter Lizette and Curtis Green of Canyon, TX; grandchildren Chad and Jennifer Green (Madison, Avery), and Michael and Destinee Green (Huck, Tucker); son David and Khristine Trotter of Hale Center, TX; grandchildren Dawnielle and Daniel Ruijne (Wyatt), Alyssa Trotter (Delilah), Travis Trotter, Kole Trotter and fiancé Lexi Hernandez, Destiana, Aszhalee, and Paislee; and sister Patsy Trotter Mimms (Jack). Preceded in death by father Ferd Trotter, mother Geneva Trotter; sister Claudette Ward; sister Mary Sue Trotter; brother-in-law James Ward; and brother Leon Trotter. Visitation will be at Sanders Funeral Home Friday, August 19, 2022, 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A celebration of his life will be 10:00 AM Saturday, August 20, 2022, in Sanders Memorial Chapel with James Reynolds officiating. Graveside services will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
