Beverly Lee (Jackson) Stancil, 74, of Cheverly, Maryland, passed away on Friday, November 11, 2022 at the Complete Care in La Plata. Born on May 18, 1948 in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Edward Jackson and Ella Beatrice Jackson. A life long resident of the Metropolitan area, Beverly worked as a Special Assistant for the Department of the Interior for many years before her retirement. She enjoyed traveling and teaching religious education. Beverly was of the Catholic faith and attended St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Cheverly. In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by her brothers Dwight Jackson and Stephen A. Jackson; her brother-in-law Calvin Richardson. Beverly is survived by her siblings Ralph W. Jackson, Marc K. Jackson, and Kim A Richardson; she is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. A visitation will be held on Monday, December 5, 2022 from 9:30AM to 11:25AM at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 6301 Jason Street, Cheverly, Maryland 20785 with Mass to be offered at 11:30AM. Interment to follow the Mass at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 1300 Bladensburg Road NE, Washington, DC 20002.
