Bettyann’s Obituary Mrs. Bettyann Forkel age 80 of Blairsville passed away peacefully on Monday October 3, 2022 in the Chatuge Hospital following an extended illness. Mrs. Forkel was born on November 4, 1941 in Hoboken, NJ., the daughter of the late Howard Forkel and the late Margaret McAvoy Forkel. She loved fishing, playing poker and going the to the casino She was always very loving and caring. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her and loved her. Surviving Mrs. Forkel are her loving spouse and best friend and also a brother and sister in law, many other relatives and friends also survive. As per Betty’s wishes, no services are planned. In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to the Union County Humane Society in Mrs. Forkel’s memory.
