View Tribute Book Betty (Ginand) McCarthy, 88, formerly of Aliquippa, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Heritage Valley, Beaver. Born August 12, 1934, in Aliquippa, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Joseph) Ginand. She was a member of Mary Queen of Saints Parish, St. Titus Catholic Church in Aliquippa. Betty loved cooking, baking, playing bingo, and going to the Casino with her sister and daughter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William McCarthy; two brothers, John Ginand and Phillip Ginand; four sisters, Florence Betters, Theresa Stotka, Mary Ann Pandocchi, and Bernadette Griswold. She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Collins (Chris Harris); a sister, Wanda Betters; many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends will be received Tuesday, December 13, 2022, from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at TATALOVICH FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 3475 Brodhead Road, Monaca, PA, 15061, where a service will be held Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at 9:15am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am at St. Titus Catholic Church, Aliquippa. Entombment will follow at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, Hopewell Twp. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s research hospital or a charity of one’s choice. Read more
