Bennett Tarlton McCallum passed away on December 28, 2022, at home in Charlottesville, with his loving family by his side. He was born on July 27, 1935, to the late Henry D. McCallum and Frances T. McCallum and grew up in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was a Professor in the University of Virginia Department of Economics from 1967-1979 and at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh from 1980-2016.
