Ben Leroy Telg, 72, of Caldwell, was called home to his Lord, Thursday, August 18, 2022. Visitation will be held Monday, August 22, from 6 to 8 pm at Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home – Caldwell. Funeral services will be performed on Tuesday, August 23, at 10 am also at Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home – Caldwell. Burial will follow at Hix Cemetery. Ben Leroy Telg was born in Burleson County on November 25, 1949 to parents Ben Harmon Telg and Ruby (Brinkman) Telg. Leroy served in the US Army and was proud to serve. He was a hard worker and was a Heavy Equipment Operator for the City of College Station and later Burleson County Road Department. Leroy enjoyed riding in his tractor and did custom hay bailing. Leroy was preceded in death by both of his parents, and a brother, Charles Telg. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Beverly Telg; a son, Daniel Telg and his wife Jayme; two granddaughters, Mylah and Jaylee Telg; a sister, Betty Jean Prazak; three brothers, Douglas Donnie and Theo Telg.
