Predeceased by his parents, Purdy and Elizabeth Mead; sister and brother-in-law, Rosemary (Jim) Burgett; son-in-law, Steven Small. Survived by his loving wife, Jackie Mead; children, Tim & Cindy Mead, Marcy & Don Sisson, Michelle Small, Dennis & Diane Mead; grandchildren, Brad & Kirsten Sisson, Jason & Mandi Gibbins, Andrew & Heather Small, Christopher Small, Alex & Sawyer Loney, Nikki Small, Michael Small, Brandon Sisson, Jackie & Mason Madeline, Jacob Mead, Lainey Mead, Teagan Mead; 7 great-grandchildren, in-laws, Bruce & Mary Vickers, Bob & Angela Vickers, Dave & Pat Vickers, and Shirley Thorp. Visitation for Avery will be held on December 29 from 4-7 pm at the funeral home, 15 West Ave., Spencerport. His funeral mass will be on Friday, December 30 at 10 am, at St. John the Evangelist Church, 55 Martha St, Spencerport. In lieu of flowers, you may donate in Avery’s memory to the American Diabetes Association at PO Box 7023 Merrifield, VA 22116-7023 or at diabetes.org.
