Obituary Austin Daniel Wellott, also known as “The Sauce Boss” passed away on November 25, 2022. Austin was born in Richardson, Texas on February 5, 1992 to Shawn and Nita “Kathy” Wellott. Austin loved people from all walks of life. During his short 30 years, he never met a stranger. Austin will be fondly remembered for his child like personality and close bond with his nieces. Austin acquired the nickname ” The Sauce Boss ” because of his fondness for all things condiment or sauce. He often ordered every single sauce on his Subway sandwiches. Austin was a history buff and highly intelligent, almost too smart for his own good. If you were in the presence of Austin you were either laughing or loaning him your stuff. He will be forever missed by those that knew him and had the privilege of calling him friend. Austin is survived by his mother, Kathy Wellott; sister Katelyn Wellott; brother Ryan Wellott and wife Megan; nieces Ashton and Layton along with countless aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his father Shawn Wellott; grandparents Robert and Rose Wellott and Nita and Walter Schattle; aunt Jodi Wellott and uncle Dennis Lemons. A celebration of life is planned for January. To plant Memorial Trees in memory of Austin Daniel Wellott, please click here to visit our Sympathy Store.
