Audrey E. (Arnold) Miller, 94, passed away on December 18, 2022 at Country Meadows, where she had been a resident. She was the loving wife of the late Charles Robert Miller who died on December 5, 2011. The couple was married for 60 years. Audrey was born December 7, 1928 in Hellam, PA. She was the daughter of the late J. Raymond and Areta J. (Bailey) Arnold. She graduated from Shippensburg University and was a teacher in the York City School District. She was a member of Canadochly Evangelical and Reformed Church and sang in the church choir for several years. She also served on the Board of Christian Education of the Sunday school. Audrey enjoyed classical music, anything concerning history, and the Arnold genealogy. She also enjoyed reading, baking, playing 500, jigsaw puzzles, and especially loved anything that had to do with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She leaves a daughter, Jane Rohrbaugh (Ed) of York, two sons, Raymond Miller (Jane) of Dover and Ronald Miller (Debby) of Red Lion; six grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Dorothy Beshore, Betty Meals, and Jeanette Boyer. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, December 23, 2022 at the Etzweiler Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, 1111 E. Market St., York, with the Rev. William H. Baral officiating. A viewing will be held on Friday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Mount Rose Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Canadochly Evangelical and Reformed Church, 4845 E. Prospect Road, York, PA 17406.
