After graduating from Logan High in 1948, Inez became a homemaker and gospel singer. She loved singing in a quartet and listening to gospel music, and in her free time enjoyed quilting, solving word puzzles, sudoku, and watching the cooking channel with her daughter and Jeopardy with her son. Inez was a deeply spiritual woman and had a deep love for God, which shone through in all aspects of her life. She had a great love for cooking and food, and was known for her delicious meals and baked goods. In addition to her love of gospel music and hobbies, she was known for her stylish dress sense, as well as her storytelling and sense of humor. She loved to regale her children and grandchildren with tales from her childhood and young adult years, always adding a touch of wit and humor to keep them entertained.
