Huff, 85, while home in Bridgewater, Maine slipped peacefully into eternal life with our Lord and Savior on Saturday November 19, 2022. Arthur was born April 23, 1937, in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada, the son of Lee and Marjorie (Huff) Briggs. He grew up in Bridgewater and graduated from Bridgewater Classical Academy. He moved to the Portland area and had various jobs before beginning a 40 year career driving buses for Portland Metro. After retirement he decided to return to the county. Attending church and being part of his church family has always been important to Arthur, he was a faithful member of The Old Fashion Revival Center in Blaine. He was an avid reader, lifelong learner and loved visiting historic sites and national parks across the country. He is survived by four daughters: Barbara Brown, Brenda Bales and her husband Kevin, Sheri Huff, Traci Miro and her husband William, five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Arthur was predeceased by sisters Marian Cleveland and Marjorie Stewart. A graveside service will be conducted 2pm Sunday, June 11, 2022, at Smith Cemetery, Bridgewater, with the Rev. Mark Carter officiating.
