Arnold Eugene Wallen of the Wallens Creek Community, Jonesville VA passed away at his home on November 17, 2022. Arnold was born on September 25,1937 to the late Phillip and Lillie Wallen of Blackwater, VA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Clarence Bartee Wallen and Lewis Onza Wallen, sister Trena Ann Osborne, his sister-in-law Eva Kate Wallen, nephews Larry Wayne Wallen and Kenneth Scotty Osborne. Arnold was a member of Osborne Chapel Church of Blackwater, VA and will be missed by his church family. Arnold served in the United States Army from 1957-1959. He retired from AFG Glass Plant in Kingsport, TN in 1999 and remained a full time farmer until recently when his health started declining. Arnold is survived by his daughter Teresa Wininger and husband Mike of Surgoinsville, TN, brother Phillip Wayne Wallen and wife Margaret of Church Hill, TN, grandchildren Joey Edwards and Craig Wininger. Arnold is also survived by a host of nieces, great nieces and nephews, along with many other family and friends. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 22, at Robinette Funeral Home in Blackwater. A memorial service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Keith Holt officiating.
