Obituary Anthony “Tony” Benezra, 64, of Kerhonkson, died Friday, March 18, 2022 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center Tony resided at the Cedar Ridge IRA since 2018, prior to that he lived at the Market Street IRA. Tony worked at various locations in his younger years including Imperial Schrade where he assisted in packing and shipping of cutlery and Pilot Industries on Canal Street in Ellenville until retiring in 2016. To know Tony, you were blessed; his smile warm and laugh infectious, touching so many lives while living his. Tony was an inspiration to all that knew him, and all who knew him, adored him. Tony took joy in sharing his love of music, dancing, superheroes and boxing with all of those around him. Tony took boxing lessons, which he loved and talked about often while shadow boxing. He could change a household mood by just being himself; often found dancing in front of the music videos using the living room as his stage for all to enjoy. Tony will be reposing at the Simpson-Hammerl Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave on Friday, March 25, 2022 from 10 -11:00 AM. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 at the funeral home.
