Obituary Anne Carmines Ransdell, 96, passed away November 4, 2022. She was born in Virginia the daughter of the late Thomas Odell and Rebecca Thomas Carmines. Anne retired as an Accountant with Spencer Printing Company in Richmond and was a member of the National Association of Accountants (I.M.A.). She was a member of Ebenezer U.M.C. in Suffolk and was a founding member of St. Mark’s U.M.C. in Richmond. Anne is predeceased by her husband, Charles Edward Ransdell, Jr., and brothers, Thomas O. Carmines, Jr., George Carmines. Anne is survived by her daughter, Marie Gill (Calvin Scheidt); grandchildren, Charles Ransdell Illes, Hannah Odell Hull (Ryan); great grandchild, Calum Reagan Hull; sister, Margie Dumas; sister-in-law, Linda Carmines and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at Lake Prince Woods, Portsmouth Center, 100 Anna Goode Way, Suffolk, VA 23434 on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 11 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Lake Prince Woods Benevolence Fund.
