Anna Lee (Burks) Arterburn Anna Lee (Burks) Arterburn, age 85, of Gamaliel, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2022, at Signature Healthcare of Monroe. She was born on August 6, 1937, the daughter of the late Bennie & Maude (Turner) Burks. Anna was a 1958 Gamaliel High School graduate who worked at the sewing factory for years and did farm work. She enjoys sewing, yard work, and cooking. She was a loving, outgoing person and loved taking care of her family. She is survived by her husband of sixty-five years, Divie Arterburn; six children, Joyce Carey and husband Hollis, Jeffery Arterburn and wife Remona both of Glasgow, Jean Davis and her companion Ricky Netherton, Ree Nell Blythe and her husband Tony, Shirley Copas and her companion Mike Teeples, and Ivan Arterburn all of Gamaliel; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, November 27, 2022, at Bartley & Sons Gamaliel Chapel, with burial to follow in the Neal Cemetery. Bro. Gary Emberton will officiate the service. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 27, 2022, at Bartley & Sons Gamaliel Chapel from 9:00 a.m. until the time for the service at 1:00 p.m. Pallbearers: Josh Moss, Nathan Ford, Robert Compton, Kevin Bowe, Dillon Staples, and Chris Collins. Bartley & Sons Gamaliel Chapel is both honored and privileged to be entrusted with the care of Mrs. Anna Lee Arterburn.
