Anna’s Obituary God’s precious gift Our Anna was such a precious gift That descended from heaven above Used only to show God’s children An example of God’s immense love There is nothing as beautiful As the love from our God or mother For this we know We will eternally remember and love her Samantha Brimm On Sunday November 13th, 2022, Anna Jane Cowger (Baer), loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, passed away at a young age of 74. Anna was born in Lewiston, Idaho, on May 11th, 1948 to Harold and Caroline Baer. She graduated from Lewiston High School in 1966 and attended college at LCSC with aspirations of becoming a nurse. She was always active with her religion and her church. On August 12th, 1967, she married Darrell Lynn Cowger. They raised one son Michael, and two daughters, Samantha and Cheryl. Anna had many passions but none as strong as her relationship with God and his son Jesus Christ. She loyally attended and played piano for multiple churches no care of what denomination. Through Sunday school and Awanas she taught young children about Jesus. She loved to write in many different forms; her stories, her studies, her thoughts, her prayers, and her poems. She will be remembered for her faith, nurturing nature, compassion, creativity, and kindness. Anna was proceeded in death by her husband Darrell Cowger, her parents Harold and Caroline Baer, her in-laws, Betty, Hank, and Walter, her niece Erica, her nephew Vernon, her brother in-law Danny, and friend Dexter. She is survived by three children and their spouses, Jay and Samantha Brimm, Michael and Karen Cowger, Gary and Cheryl Killen, her grandchildren, Dillon and Ashley, Mitchell and Marin, Jackson, Waylon, and Henry, her great -grandchildren Maliki, Gabriel, Jaxson, Carson, and Darrelyn, her three brothers and their wives, John and Kathi, David and Jacki, Rieny and Karen, her seven sisters and their husbands, Carol and Jim, Becky and John, Debby and Howard, Elizabeth, Judy and Jess, Nancy and Stan, Elisa and Johnny, her in-laws, Linda, Lonnie and Nancy, Ken and Becky, several cousins, nieces, and nephews. Anna’s celebration of life will be held at Bible Baptist Church located at 255 US 21 Bypass, Fort Mill, SC 29715, at 3:00 pm. on Tuesday, November 22, 2022.
