Obituary Ann Lillian (Herman) Mihalic, 71, of Zelienople passed away peacefully on March 30, 2022, at UPMC Passavant-McCandless, surrounded by her children. Ann was born on April 15, 1950, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of William and Ida Mae (Deal) Herman. She had two brothers, William Herman and Martin Herman and two sisters, Faye Crouse and Ginny Ilsley. She was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Chuck Mihalic. She was the proud mother of four children, Barb DeMarco (Scott), Todd Simon (Jamie), Leslie Ahl (Matt), Adam Simon (Margherita): two stepchildren, Charles Mihalic Jr. (Pam) and Christine Robinson (Michael); eight grandchildren, Sarah and Emily DeMarco, Trevor and Ashlyn Simon, Mason and Sydney Ahl and Sebastian and Carmelina Simon. Ann loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She was always happiest when her children visited. She liked to spend her time hunting and fishing in the Allegheny National Forest, cross stitching, traveling, and watching crime shows on television. Ann was able to find the humor in life even during the most trying times. She was always ready for a good laugh. As per Ann’s wishes, no services will be held.
