Ann Langley Pugh, 88, passed away on August 4th, 2022, with her family by her side in Red Springs, Texas. Ann was born on September 16th, 1933, in Milam, Texas to Carroll and Lula Boyd and grew up with a loving family of 3 brothers and 2 sisters. She graduated from Bronson High School and afterwards earned a degree from Tyler Commercial College. In 1952, she married the life of the party and her best friend GC Langley. They made a life together in several homes as GC was a contractor. In 1954 they also became parents to the light of their life, Kenneth, and in 1961 they purchased the family farm and moved to Red Springs, Texas. Ann was employed by ETEX paper company for over 20 years. In 1974, GC passed away suddenly. Many women do not have the blessing of marrying one great man, but Ann was blessed with two wonderful husbands in her lifetime. In 1978, she married Tommy Pugh and she made the absolutely perfect pastor’s wife and help mate until he passed away in 2007. During this time, they served Jesus together at many different BMA Churches across Texas and in New Mexico. Ann served at each location in many different capacities, from piano player to Sunday school teacher to VBS coordinator, and always was willing to do whatever was needed. She was an integral part of the Women’s Missionary Auxiliary group at each location and was honored to serve as a National and State officer for many years. In addition to her work as a pastor’s wife, she also was employed for 13 years by the United States Postal Service as a postal clerk. After Tommy passed away in 2007, she was proud to be a “Pink Lady” and enjoyed the 8 years that she spent volunteering her time in the surgery waiting room at Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler. She also was a member of Red Springs Baptist Church and served as the flower and food coordinator until her death. Ann will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and church family. Left to mourn her earthly presence and rejoice that she has joined Jesus in her eternal heavenly home are her son and daughter-in-law Kenneth and Rosie Langley and daughters and son-in laws Annette Camille (Wayne) of Red Springs and Gleta Hall (David) of Hawkins, her sisters Evelyn Taylor (Tommy) of Quinlan and Billie Greer (Carl) of Houston, and her sister-in-law Shirley Body of Lufkin. She was the best “Grandma” ever to Charlotte Main (Monty), Hollie Gambino (Rodney), Curtis Langley (Jessica), Michael Hall, Cody Hall, and Luke Camille who already miss her presence. Additionally, Ann is survived by 11 Great Grandchildren (Gracie Gambino, Karlie Lowe, Kassidy Langley, Cort Gambino, Caroline Langley, Ellie Jo Main, Clay Langley, Beth Ann Main, and Jennifer, Hannah, and Braden Hall) as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended church families. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carroll and Lula Boyd, her husbands GC Langley and Tommy Pugh, and her brothers OD “Darrell” Boyd and CD “Dwayne” Boyd and his wife Corene. Visitation will be held at Caudle Rutledge Daugherty funeral home in Lindale Saturday evening from 6 to 8pm with funeral services on Sunday at 2:30pm at Red Spring Baptist Church with Collin Jones, Jeff Boyd, and Steve Boyd officiating. Interment will follow at Red Springs Cemetery with Fred Morrow officiating. Pallbearers will be John Boyd, Keith Boyd, Rex Coulter, Cort Gambino, Michael Hall, Gary Taylor, Mark Taylor, and Mike Taylor. Honorary pallbearers are Luke Camille, Clay Langley, Richard Peacock, Richard Taylor, and DeWayne Thompson. The family would like to thank everyone for the many calls, texts, and visits over the last few weeks while Ann was sick and especially the nurses and caregivers who helped take such wonderful care of her during her illness and a special thanks to Deborah for being such a blessing the last few weeks. Donations may be sent to the Texas Baptist Home for Children (P.O. Box 309 Waxahachie, TX 75168) or Hospice of East Texas.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Ann Langley Pugh September 16 1933 August 4 2022.
