Obituary Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister Anita Lorene Curry Duty, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 26th, 2022 at Pikeville Medical Center. She devoted her life to her husband, children, and her grandchildren. She always said they were her greatest blessings in life. Anita was born on October 10th, 1953 in Williamson, WV. Anita is proceeded in death by her parents Harold and Christine Curry. Anita’s love will continue on by those she leaves behind: The love of her life and devoted husband, Raymond Duty; three loving sons, Jonathan (Joyce) Barath, Thomas (Brandy) Sloan, and Dustin (Tabetha) Sloan; one beautiful daughter Christy (Joseph) Burgress. She also leaves behind five grandchildren; William David Thacker, Daniel Robert Jonas, Michael Chenoweth, Briana Chenoweth, and Benjamin Sloan; three great grandchildren, Skieghlyn Mahon, Kasen Mahon, and Braylon Bowers; one sister, Gloria Jean Huntley with niece Gina (Adam) Moloney and nephew Jeremy (Jamy) Lowe; four great nieces, Alaina, Janay, Addison, and Ashlyn; one great nephew Easton; one brother, Harold Douglas Curry and niece Carissa (Danny) Daniels; two great nieces, Lexi and Katana; one great nephew Douglas and a host of many other nieces and nephews and loving friends. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 31, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Honaker Funeral Home in Logan, with Rev. Bobby Perry officiating. Friends may call on the family at the funeral home on Sunday from 12:00 to 1:00 PM. A private burial will be held at Highland Memory Gardens at Chapmanville, WV.
